As part of the Gaza Ceasefire Pilgrimages in Aotearoa, we are raising funds to help people survive:
- emergency cash transfers
- food
- hygiene kits
- medications and medical treatment
- psychosocial support
- health education
Funds will be sent to our long-term partner the Department of Service to Palestinian Refugees (DSPR).
DSPR Gaza is an integral part of the local community and has been offering services to all Palestinians for generations. Before this conflict, DSPR Gaza ran three primary health clinics (including dental care and focusing on woman and children) and vocational training programmes. It provided emergency assistance to families. Now, only the health clinic in Rafah is open. Staff see more than 400 patients a day. The Greek Orthodox and Catholic churches are providing shelter and food for the displaced community.

DSPR also runs programmes providing emergency relief, education, livelihood support and medical care in Jordan, Lebanon, Nazareth and the West Bank.
