The 2018 Christmas Appeal is underway. This year’s appeal funds our 28 partners working in their communities to help people build stronger and more resilient communities so families can escape poverty.
Appeal kits have been mailed to churches, schools, theological colleges and chaplaincies as well as our great team of Parish Links.
The kits are an introduction to this year’s theme Be the Lifeline, linking it with the lectionary readings for Advent and Christmas. If you would like a copy of the kit or more information about Christmas Appeal resources, please contact Sarah or order online.
CWS can supply appeal envelopes, posters in 10 languages and service sheet covers to parishes and congregations who want to take part in the Appeal. These can be ordered on the order form enclosed with the kit or online.
The theme comes to us from our partner the Department of Service to Palestinian Refugee Jordan who told staff member Trish Murray, your support was a lifeline to Syrian refugees.
Rev Dr Susan Jones, Rev Clare Lind and the people of Tawa Union are preparing worship resources that will be available at the end of October.
Please order your resources by October 15.
