Christian World Service announces the second meeting of the annual Supporters’ Council.
This year’s meeting will be held at St Andrew’s on the Terrace (Conference rooms 1 and 2), 30 The Terrace, Wellington on Saturday 21 November beginning at 10am.
The meeting is open to individuals, partner churches and their members, and organisations that have made a financial contribution to the work of CWS in the last two years. It is an opportunity to meet with the National Director Pauline McKay and members of the National Board as well as watch edited highlights from the recent 70th anniversary address “How Small Change Makes Big Change” by business journalist and prominent Anglican Rod Oram.
The Council will be followed by the Annual General meeting of the Board and lunch.
Under the new constitution, the Board would like to appoint a member of the Supporters’ Council to its membership. Initially the appointment would be for three years. The Board is now inviting nominations for this position from around the country. The final date for completed nomination forms is 13 November.
