“God is with me. My family will soon be liberated from all forms of water suffering,” says Specioza (pictured centre).
A bi-monthly news bulletin exploring development, global justice and the work of CWS. Past issues can be read here
Even though we cannot visit Uganda, we can share in Specioza’s story. A grandmother caring for four grandchildren orphaned by AIDS, she will soon have rain water on tap. The water means the children will be healthier and can go to school. The family will be able to wash their hands to protect themselves against Covid-19 and have more time to grow the food they need. Their lives will be changed – something we can do by working together with our partner the Centre for Community Solidarity.
